This page documents how bilvideo.dk is built. It is written for engineers. All content is served as HTML from the server. The site is readable without JavaScript.

The stack is React, TypeScript and Tailwind, server-rendered with TanStack Start. There is no animation library. All motion is CSS. The hero smoke is two layers of one SVG noise texture. Below 768 px and under reduced motion it is off.

YouTube is never embedded on page load. We render a facade with a thumbnail and a play button. The iframe loads on click only, from youtube-nocookie.com. That saves about 500 kB and one and a half seconds per page.

There are no cookies, no ads, no tracking and no localStorage. So there is no cookie banner either.

Accessibility: one h1 per page, visible focus rings, keyboard navigation, tap targets of at least 44 by 44 px, and body text under 68 characters per line.

The migration keeps all 183 old URLs. Old paths answer 200 or 301, never 404.
